Tres Generaciones Anejo Cristalino Tequila

Tres Generaciones Tequila Introduces Aejo Cristalino

Lets Drink All 3 of the Tres Generaciones Tequila

Premium Mexican Tequila brand Tres Generaciones Tequila has unveiled a new expression with its Añejo Cristalino.

Cristalino tequila is the fastest growing sub-category in the market, said Rashidi Hodari, Managing Director Tequila at Beam Suntory. Given Tres Gens strong emergence in the tequila category, we felt now was the perfect time to use our generations of experience to create our take on the high-end spirit.

Tres Generaciones continues to celebrate those who strive to create their own legacy and the success that comes from never giving up when faced with a challenge. This new, exceptional Añejo Cristalino offering is no different and exemplifies the brands own generational story of pioneering, perseverance, and pride.

The liquid starts as 100% blue weber agave which is triple-distilled for extraordinary smoothness. It is then rested in American white oak barrels for at least 12 months to enhance its character adding an array of subtle flavors and a smoky finish. Finally, this aged liquid is rock filtered to gently extract the color, rounding out the flavor profile.

Though the liquid is absolutely crystal clear, our filtration process allows us to retain the tequilas unique complexity, said Luis Navarro, Senior National Brand Ambassador for Tres Generaciones. The result is a pristine, incredibly smooth tequila balancing light wood notes with a sweet and creamy taste that is best enjoyed neat, over ice or in a craft cocktail.

Tequila may have a wild and crazy reputation, but this unique spirit is created according to strict guidelines, guaranteeing authenticity and consistency. Its distilled from the fermented juice of the Weber blue agave plant, and comes only from a specified region of Mexico, centered around the western state of Jalisco.

Tequila production begins with the agave plant, cultivated in Mexicos desert regions. Early civilizations believed agave was a gift from the gods, which they used as a source for food, fibers and building materials. They would cut off the top of the plant, and the remaining stump filled with a liquid called aguamiel that would ferment into a cloudy, low-alcohol drink.

Spain lifted the ban for good in 1792, and in 1795 gave a license for the production of tequila to Jose María Guadalupe de Cuervo, maker of what is now the worlds best-selling tequila, Jose Cuervo.

A tequila labeled simply gold or joven is unaged, possibly with caramel coloring or other sweeteners added.

Regal Rogue Launches Limited

Australian Vermouth brand Regal Rogue has looked beyond vermouth to announce their first ever limited edition, Bold Aged Amaro.

Looking to turn the traditional approach, flavours and style of an amaro upside down, the brand sought the help of fellow Australian brands and visionaries to blend a liquid of new-world depths.

Regal Rogue founder Mark Ward and the brands vintner Justin Jarrett of See Saw Organic Wines joined forces with Whiskey distiller Starward, Jason Crawley of Crawleys Syrups and sustainability-focused bartender Evan Stroeve.

After 11 years of Regal Rogue, this is a dream team for our first-ever limited edition and a chance to change the perception of European Amaro, explained Ward.

Working with the incredible team at Starward, my old buddy Jason Crawley and champion bartender Evan Stroeve is the foundation of where we will take our limited editions, he continued. Stay tuned for what Starward will do with the barrels after us.

Driven by Australian ingredients and sustainability, the expression blends Regal Rogue Bold Red with more Indigenous extracts and specially hand-crafted Crawleys Syrups. The Amaro was then aged for six months in French oak red wine barrels .

The result is an Amaro that is fresh and lively but with a depth that can be seen through its gorgeous mahogany colour. The residual whisky and fiery ginger syrup give the expression an aromatic spice depth with lovely heat and zing.

Tres Generaciones Unveils New Additions To Its Core Tequila Range

Tres Generaciones Core Tequila Range

Tres Generaciones, one of Sauzas upscale Tequila brands, has announced two new additions to the brands storied range: Tres Generaciones Cenobios Batch Plata Tequila and Añejo Cristalino. These are the first additions to the Tres Generaciones range in the last quarter century.

The story of Sauza, one of Tequilas oldest and largest producers, is closely intertwined with the history of Tequila. Over multiple generations, Sauza has been one of the industrys leading innovators and continues to do so today.

It was Cenobio Sauza, for example, who pioneered the use of steam to cook the agave piñas in the stone ovens . He was also among the first Tequila producers, along with Cuervo, to first export Tequila to the United States. Cenobio was also the first major producer to promote the exclusive use of the Blue Agave, then called Blue Chinese, for Tequila production.

In 1973, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the company, Sauza released Tres Generaciones in honor of the three generations that had managed Sauza since its creation: Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and Don Francisco Javier.

The new expressions are part of a packaging makeover that features refreshed graphics as well as a renewed distribution push in the North American market.

Cenobios Batch Plata Tequila features tahona crushed Blue Weber agave. A tahona is a large stone wheel used to crush the cooked agave to extract the juice.

Tequila Tres Generaciones Añejo Cristalino C/Plata 750ml 750ml ...

Round bottle, bottled mar19, on the rear of the bottle a sticker states: No. 7955441.Pepper spiciness, sweet sugar/vanilla, soft.

Smells great taste is all alcohol.

So I said I would recommend thats based on if someone is looking for a cristalino , but you get vanilla additive sweetness hardly any agave , cake batter, powdered sugar . Just a sweet bomb

Fairly bland, with burn. It’s drinkable but find something better if possible

Not sure about the whole cristalino thing. Almost no fragrance to it. Decent flavor. Had to try a bottle because relatively cheap. Maybe a good tequila to break out when my neighbors are over 🙂

good tequila, cheap at the airport

Was extremely smooth and mellow, but to a fault. Almost seems like “añejo-lite”. In that sense it’s a great entry point for people who are new to tequila/drinking spirits neat or are afraid of the bite. Plata is a better option for cocktails IMO.I prefer the regular añejo, while still smooth has more meat on it’s bones. Got this for $600 pesos at La Europea in Cancun.

love the fact that its not available in the U.S. had to cross it over from mexico. . .it did not disapoint.

Very smooth but with a very pleasant peppery taste. I really like it.

Tres Generaciones Aejo Cristalino Tequila

Newest tequila from Sauza . very smooth

750Ml 40%Alc/Vol

  • Onre of my favorite Cristalino Tequilas

I have always been a Blanco drinker and am particular about the brands that I keep on hand. I drink tequila straight and slightly chilled. I tried my first bottle of Cristalino and fell in love with how incredibly smooth it is. Since then, I have tried many different brands and would have to say that Tres Generaciones is at the top of my list. The Anejo Cristalinos have a richer taste over the Repasado Cristalinos, but both are tasty. This one is definetly worth the purchase. If you are a true Anejo drinker, Cristalinos may not be your thing. But, if you are a Blanco drinker looking for incredible smoothness this will satisfy!
