Scissors & Scotch Franchisee Has Huge Plans For Expansion And Growth
ST LOUIS, MO / ACCESSWIRE / March 28, 2022 /Scissors & Scotch, a men’s grooming franchise offering high-quality haircuts and top-shelf cocktails, is excited to announce its expansion into the St. Louis metro area. Established franchise owners Braden Posey and Phillip Stewart plan to open their first St. Louis location later this year, with the goal of eventually opening several locations in the area.
Posey and Stewart already own the entire Kansas City market, which currently includes three successful locations with a fourth currently under construction. They intend to open a fifth K.C. shop in the next 12 months while working on the St. Louis expansion.
“St. Louis has always been a target of ours because we think it’s a perfect market for Scissors & Scotch,” said Braden Posey, Scissors & Scotch franchise owner. “The idea is to start with one location and strategically build out from there.”
Posey first became interested in the brand after a conversation with a mutual friend of Co-Founder Sean Finley. Posey, who also owns six Supplement Superstore franchises, was not actively looking for another investment but was immediately impressed by the service at Scissors & Scotch.
“It was a life-changing haircut. I know that sounds dramatic, but it was just such a big difference from any other haircut I had ever gotten,” Posey said. “I knew right then this concept was worth our time.”

Scissors & Scotch Finds Its Home At 1908 Main
The former Pendergast Building, located at 1908 Main Street has a new owner. Scissors & Scotch, a mens hair grooming experience salon, will now call the building home. After a several year search, due to the pandemic, the franchisor found its perfect place for its corporate office headquarters and training center. Once open, barbers and stylists will undergo training on the new headquarters ground floor, which Scissors & Scotch will design to resemble one of its shops, with features such as dark wood accents and polished concrete floors. We wanted something that was functional, that we were proud to show off, fit the vibe of our shops, and also a place where we could do everything we wanted to do for training in one space, said Sean Finley, co-founder of the franchise.
Scissors and Scotch aims to have the training center open and operating by the fourth quarter of 2022, with its corporate offices opening shortly after in the first quarter of 2023. With three Kansas City area locations already open, Scissors & Scotchs offers mens haircuts, shaves and grooming with spa-like services, such as a steamed towel treatment, scalp massage and face refresher. Customers also may imbibe beer, coffee, or cocktails from its full-service bars.

Mens Grooming Spa And Cocktail Bar To Open At Reston Station
The last retail space at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Stations plaza has been officially leased.
Scissors and Scotch, a mens grooming spa and cocktail bar, plans to open a 2,066-square-foot location at 1901 Reston Metro Plaza next year. The addition is part of Comstocks Reston Station project, a sprawling mixed-use development directly at the metro station.
At Scissors & Scotch our team of seasoned barbers, stylists and bartenders strive to make our customers look and feel great. We believe those who live and work in the Reston area will love the unique combination of grooming services and cocktails our locations are known for, said Kai Christian, the companys operations director, in a statement.
The business offers hair and grooming services for men in an upscale lounge with custom cocktails. Clients can take part in a membership program or drop by for walk-in services, according to the companys website.
Founding in 2015 by three friends, Scissors & Scotch has locations in nine markets, including two locations in the District, Kansas City, Des Moines, Dallas, Nashville, and Oklahoma City.
