Heres how Z2 Comics describes One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer:

Legendary blues man John Lee Hooker lived more life in one of his songs than the collective lifetimes of many. Spanning several decades of the American experience, John Lee Hooker: One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer tells three tales of Hookers storied life through the perspective of those who lived within his massive orbit, weaving textured and interpretative stories that rise to the lofty creative heights of his music and fall to the gritty reality of trying to thrive in several unforgiving eras.

Song Review By Bill Janovitz

John Lee Hooker – “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer”

Delaware bar-room kings George Thorogood & the Destroyers did a more coherent — if slightly overlong — version of “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer” for their 1977 self-titled debut album. It is surely an audience favorite for them as well. Thorogood answers his own vocals with blistering and raunchy-toned guitar riffs.
